Call of Duty: The Board Game Kickstarter Launches in August

The Kickstarter campaign for Call of Duty: The Board Game is set to launch in August.

Tabletop board game publisher Arcane Wonders has announced that the Kickstarter campaign for Call of Duty: The Board Game will begin on August 1, 2023. The board game will be a new strategy game series inspired by the Call of Duty franchise. Players will take on the role of an Elite Operator, legendary soldiers each signature weapons and unique combat skills. Using these Operators, players will be undertaking missions through a variety of maps, game modes, and team-based objectives.

Interested players will be able to pre-order the base game, as well as purchase additional Kickstarter pledge tiers as they’re made available. Those who also opt-in to recieve the email newsletter will receive a free K-9 unit, alongside news alerts at the official Call of Duty: The Board Game website.

Call of Duty: The Board Game was announced back in April, 2023. Since then, players have been eager to learn more information on the upcoming tabletop. 

When Does Call of Duty: The Board Game Release?

Call of Duty: The Board Game is expected to receive a worldwide retail release in 2024, though a specific date has yet to be given.

The upcoming board game has been officially licenced, and developed in partnership with Activision Publishing Inc., Genuine Entertainment, and Evolution. The game will encourage players to use strategy, tactical planning and more, for an immersive experience. The set will include special artwork, high-quality components, and miniatures of soldiers and weapons from the Call of Duty franchise.

The Kickstarter campaign for Call of Duty: The Board Game goes live on August 1, 2023, at 10 a.m. EST/7 a.m. PT. Those looking to get an early look at the upcoming tabletop game will be pleased to learn that Arcane Wonders will attend Gen Con Indy 2023 in Indianapolis, IN, from August 3-6, 2023, hosting demos for Call of Duty: The Board Game. Players will be able to go hands-on with the game in Standard and Advanced Modes, featuring up to eighteen player sessions.
