Some bugs and issues for a massive new Call of Duty title are expected at launch, but not so much if a bug was already present during the beta...With the release of Modern Warfare 2, on the first day, no less, players have already found a Tactical Sprint exploit or bug, whatever you want to call it.

This article explains the Tactical Sprint bug in Modern Warfare 2 and how players use it to gain an advantage over their opponents.

What is the Unlimited Tactical Sprint Bug in Modern Warfare 2?

For the uninitiated, Tactical Sprint is a skill used in Modern Warfare 2 that consumes stamina. It allows players to move faster, either getting closer to an enemy or quickly getting away and into cover, as examples of its usage. 

It is powerful, so the Operator's stamina needs to recharge before it can be used again. However, with the unlimited Tactical Sprint bug, players never have to slow down, gaining a considerable advantage.

It is very easy to pull off the unlimited Tactical Sprint exploit, so until the developers fix it, we are taking the approach of "if you can't beat them, join them". 

Simply put, the only thing you need to do to use the unlimited Tactical Sprint exploit in a Modern Warfare 2 match is to first use Tactical Sprint. Just before it runs out, just melee and the stamina will reset, allowing you another full sprint.

Just repeat the process over and over until the developers push out an update to fix it.

If the term "Tactical Sprint exploit" in Modern Warfare 2 sounds familiar to you, then you are not wrong.

Yes, there was one in the beta for Modern Warfare 2, and we won't blame you for thinking the developers would have fixed the issue. To be fair, the first Tactical Sprint exploit/bug in Modern Warfare 2's beta had to do with bunny hopping, not using melee.

Despite the difference in how unlimited Tactical Sprint is achieved via an exploit from beta to full release, it is still something that the developers should make a priority. Needless to say, having unlimited Tactical Sprint in a Modern Warfare 2 match puts those who use the bug at a distinct advantage.

The unlimited Tactical Sprint bug/exploit has not been fixed at the time of writing. We will endeavor to update this article when it gets fixed and if another way of gaining this massive movement advantage rears its speedy head.
