WoW Azerothian Archives Public Event Explained

World of Warcraft will undergo a lot of new changes in 2024. One of the biggest changes will be when Hero Talents are introduced in WoW's The War Within Expansion later this year. But before we get there, there are still going to be a couple of different updates for Dragonflight which includes a new season.

Before that new season, we will get what is called the Seeds of Renewal content update. This will bring in some new mechanics and new content for players to check out. One of the new pieces of content from this update will be the Azerothian Archives Public Event. Here, we will go over that content update and what players should expect.

What Is The Azerothian Archives Public Event In WoW Dragonflight?

According to Blizzard, the Azerothian Archives Public Event will be a public occurrence. Players will meet in an area known as Traitor's Rest. There, players will be tasked to take on the Public Event. Players will get the quest called "To the Archives" which will help players find Eadweard Dalyngrigge who will guide players during the Public event.

From here, players will get a variety of different tasks that they must complete for Eadweard. While completing tasks for him, players will get a variety of unique rewards that they will want to grab.

Azerothian Archives Missions In WoW Dragonflight

During the Azerothian Archives missions, there are three specific activities that players can take on. They are Excavation, Technoscrying, and Research. In Excavation, players will be tasked to go to a certain site and dig around. Players are normally looking for some sort of relic.

Technoscrying will be players being guided through directional pings and alerts to whatever players are looking for. Players will even witness scenes from the past with this job. Research is where players will accompany a familiar to find the research books that they need in that specific moment.

Rewards For Completing Azerothian Archives in WoW Dragonflight

Public Events in WoW are great for getting a large number of rewards. This time around, it looks like the Azerothian Archives Public Event will give players a good number of cosmetic rewards. This includes transmog items, mounts, and other cosmetic rewards. Here is a list of all the different rewards players can get during the Azerothian Archives Public Event:
