Luminous Luminaries 2024: Start Date, Rewards, How It Works

World of Warcraft will recieve a lot of attention during the year 2024. One of the main reasons for that is because there is going to be a large expansion called The War Within launching in 2024. The War Within will drastically change how players approach character creation with the new Hero Talents that will arrive.

But before that, we have a lot of other updates that WoW will receive throughout the year. From the next season of Dragonflight to the variety of Micro-Holidays that will happen, a lot of content is coming to WoW this year. Here, we will talk about the upcoming Luminous Luminaries Micro-Holiday in WoW and how to complete it.

Every year, there are a variety of Micro-Holidays that happen on WoW, and Blizzard has posted the list that players should expect in 2024. One of them is the Luminous Luminaries event in WoW. To get started, players should make their way to the depths of Vashj'ir, which will require some sort of water breathing as the event is underwater.

From there, players will have to purchase a head lantern and then draw in some creatures that are in the area. Let the submarine scan your head lantern to collect the research data on the creatures you find. Just make sure that you do not get caught by the Whale Shark as it is a deadly enemy.

Luminous Luminaries Prizes And Dates In WoW

For those who are unaware, players who participate in Micro-Holiday events do not receive any permanent prizes. That means do not expect to get a new pet just because you participated in the Luminous Luminaries event. The prize for this particular Micro-Holiday is lore, and that is it.

This is one of the longer and more difficult Micro-Holidays there is to complete, but it is also a once-a-year event that players might want to take part in. The Luminous Luminaries event will happen on July 13, and after that, players will have to wait until next year to check it out again.
