Spring Balloon Festival 2024: Start Date, Rewards, How It Works

There are still plenty of other updates before we get the next WoW expansion. For example, Micro-Holidays will periodically happen for players to understand the lore of the world better. Here, we are going to go over what the Spring Balloon Festival is in WoW and what to expect from it.

What Is The Spring Balloon Festival In WoW

In a post from Blizzard, we got information about the upcoming Mirco-Holidays that are going to happen in World of Warcraft. One of these Micro Holidays is the Spring Balloon Festival. To get started with the Spring Balloon Festival, players should look for the red x marks on their map.

Those red x marks will indicate where the red hot air balloons are currently. Once players have arrived, they have to wait for a total of three players to be present. Once three players are there, they will ride the hot air balloon and have a dialogue with the NPC who is guiding them. And that is all the Spring Balloon Festival is.

Spring Balloon Festival Prizes And Dates In WoW

The Spring Balloon Festival is a Micro-Holiday in WoW. That means it is a small event that awards no prizes. So do not participate in expecting a new mount or pet. Normally, these Micro-Holidays will offer some sort of buff for the day for participating. The Spring Balloon Festival offers no reward at all

That means that there is really no penalty for missing this Micro-Holiday but it is an experience to remember. For those who want to participate in the Spring Balloon Festival, they will have to do so from May 10 through May 12. After that, the Spring Balloon Festival will stop and will not come back until next year.
