If you are a fan of Call of Duty, then you should know full well who the character Ghost is. However, you might not know who the voice actor for Ghost is, especially since the character was re-casted for Modern Warfare 2019. Jeff Alexander Leach (an English actor, comedian and writer) took on the role of Ghost and portrayed the role in both Modern Warfare 2019, as well as Warzone when the character was added in Season 2 back in February 2020. Now, publisher Activision has revealed they have cut ties with Jeff Leach and condemned sexist remarks made.
Jeff Leach sexist remarks & Activision reaction
Sexist remarks from Jeff Leach, reportedly from a live Facebook Gaming stream that occurred in December last year, as well as a Twitch streamer back in 2017, recently resurfaced.
These sexist comments by Jeff Leach were mostly made about streamer ZombiUnicorn, as following a Twitter thread exposing all these comments, questions about how Jeff Leach still has partners in the industry came forth.

An example of a sexist remark made by Jeff Leach reads: “I love how it’s always like some dirty, dirty, gross f$%king looking emo b#$%h who looks like she f#$king has no chance of getting a bit of d@#k in her.”
You can check out the Twitter thread featuring multiple instances of sexist remarks below.
ZombiUnicorn also responded with a video, talking about concerns and asking why Activision and Facebook still have partnerships with Jeff Leach.
In a statement from Activision sent to CharlieIntel, the publisher responded: “Sexism has no place in our industry, our games or in society. Activision is no longer working with Jeff Leach. We strongly condemn these remarks. We are committed to delivering a fun and safe experience for all players.”
At the time of writing, Jeff Leach has not made a direct comment addressing the sexist remarks. However, he did note on Twitter: “This should go without saying but anyone who sends threatening messages is not representative of me or my community and I do not condone this in any way.”

He further commented on ZombiUnicorn’s character in a tweet, stating: “She has neither been victimised nor does she care about ending vile language towards other people. Now should I post the video of her calling people ‘fa%$ots’ in her chat now or later…?”
This is a developing story. At the time of writing, Facebook Gaming has not made an official response about the Jeff Leach sexism remarks.
