Follower Dungeons are dungeons that can be explored with NPCs. In World of Warcraft, one of the most common endgame content that players like to explore is dungeons. Dungeons allow players to go through a variety of enemies and challenges in a group of five.

The main issue for Dungeons is players need a group of five to explore them. For some players, this can be difficult if they do not have a group ready to explore the dungeon with. With Follower Dungeons, players will no longer have to group with random people, and they can explore Dungeons at their own leisure with NPCs. This is only available for players level 60-70. Follower Dungeons will always be normal dungeons.

Follower Dungeons can be explored by one to four players. Depending on the group, the NPCs provided will fill any missing roles that the party needs. So if a solo DPS player is trying to play a Follower Dungeon, the NPCs will fill out the rest of the roles. This will be the case no matter how many players try to do a Follower Dungeon together. Here are the possible Follower Dungeons:

  • Ruby Life Pools
  • Nokhud Offensive
  • Brackenhide Hollow
  • Halls of Infusion
  • Algeth’ar Academy
  • Neltharus
  • The Azure Vault
  • Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr

The NPCs will move more to the whims of the players, allowing newer players to explore the Dungeon they are participating in. Players can ask their followers to either lead or stop leading. The Follower Dungeons are great for learning how the Dragonflight Dungeons work before exploring them with actual players. So if players need a quick group or they want to practice the dungeons, Follower Dungeons will be available to help.
