Blizzard has posted a list of all the Micro-Holidays that will happen in WoW in 2024. For those who want to participate, there are two locations players can go to. Alliance players can go to Stormwind, and Horde players can go to Orgrimmar. Once there, players will want to find a guard.

In front of the guard, players will do the Salute emote in front of them. Doing so will change players into a guard uniform. While in uniform, players can go around and defeat enemies that invade the town. This is a Micro-Holiday that allows players to step into the shoes of the guards they see every day.

An important note for players is that Micro-Holidays in WoW do not tend to give out permanent prizes. So items like transmogs, pets, and more will not be offered. Instead, players will get a buff that will give them a title. The title will depend on how many enemies the player defeats while defending their town.

Micro-holidays are small events in WoW that allow players to change how they would normally play the game. But these are small events that do not last too long. Volunteer Guard Day will only be available on April 28. Once that date has passed, players will have to wait until next year to participate.
