Are you enjoying World of Warcraft (WoW) Classic’s Season of Discovery mode, now in Phase 2 of its content plan? Or maybe it’s a bit too slow, right? Well, take this as a happy news PSA, then!
Yes, developer Blizzard has announced a huge buff to player XP in WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2.
WoW SoD Discoverer’s Delight XP Buff
Aptly called Discoverer’s Delight, the WoW Classic SoD experience buff increases experience gains by 100% for all players through level 39! That’s absolutely massive and will no doubt help you get your characters to Gnomergan, earn new Runes, and much more.
The XP buff for Season of Discovery players comes right in the middle of Phase 2, with Phase 3 expected to begin sometime in May or early June 2024. We expect the experience buff to end once Phase 3 is released.
Keep in mind that this XP buff is just for WoW Classic Season of Discovery, and doesn’t work in other Classic modes, or in WoW Dragonflight.
If you dislike getting XP faster and want the original experience, you can head to your nearest Innkeeper to turn the experience buff off or on again.
