MW2 DRC Zone 1 Map Guide: Spawn Points, POIs, Tips

With every update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, there's new content for players to check out. Most of the time, you will get content updates such as new weapons which will change up the meta of the game. In Season 5 Reloaded for Modern Warfare 2, there's a much bigger update that has fans excited.

Although there's a lot of the usual content such as various cosmetic updates that players can grab, there has also been a new map introduced in Season 5 Reloaded, called DRC Zone 1. Here, we will go over some of the key points that you will want to know in DRC Zone 1 in Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 DRC Zone 1 Spawn Points And POIs

In an update provided by Activision, they went over all the details about the new DRC Zone 1 map in Modern Warfare 2. DRC Zone 1 is a 6v6 map where you can play traditional game modes such as Team Death Match or Capture the Flag. Below is a list of the various spawn points and POIs that you can use in DRC Zone 1.

Spawn Points:

• KorTac Loading Area
• SpecGru North Parking Lot

POIs:

• Parking Lot
• Lobby And Labs
• Courtyard And Patio
• Research And Development
• Loading Area

As you can see, there are two main spawn points that you need to be aware of and a good number of POIs to take note of. A lot of the fighting will take place in medium-sized rooms unless you run into enemies on the outside. There are plenty of different ways to tackle this map in Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 DRC Zone 1 Tips And Tricks

If you end up spawning on the side that is on the KorTac Loading Area, you should head to the courtyard. It is easier to intercept enemies that way and not get trapped while heading to the Warehouse. If you spawn in the SpecGru Parking Lot, you might want to have long-range guns so you can use the area to your advantage.

If you have long-range weapons, try to stay outside so you can take advantage of the area and not get caught off-guard. The Courtyard and Patio is where most fights will take place in this new map. If you need some extra kills or you are feeling confident, take charge and head to this area. SMGs will be very good on this map while you are inside the buildings.
