Tarkov Gunsmith Part 14 Mechanic Quest Guide

After succeeding and losing all your money within Escape from Tarkov's Gunsmith Part 13, Mechanic will offer you Gunsmith Part 14, once obtaining level 27 and waiting 24 hours after Part 13's completion. Fortunately, this quest provides a cheaper experience than the last, however, the build is quite fussy. Mechanic requests players to build a HK 416A5 to his specification, to those who don't know, the HK 416A5 is a beautiful weapon and a master on the field of battle.

You are able to purchase the standard HK 416A5 from Peacekeeper Loyalty Level 3, which will not cost a lot of money. To meet Mechanic's criteria, you should use the Flea market to avoid having to reach the required merchant levels. Additionally, if you're trying to save money you will be able to loot the required items, despite taking you a significant amount of time! 

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 14

Gunsmith Part 14 will require a series of weapon attachments for the HK 416A5 following these criteria:

• 80 Durability
• 60 or more ergonomics
• 250 or less recoil
• 4 kg or less in weight
• A magazine with a capacity of at least 30
• SureFire SOCOM556-RC2 5.56x45 sound suppressor
• Magpul RVG foregrip (FDE)
• EOTech EXPS3 holographic sight (Tan)
• Magpul UBR GEN2 stock (FDE)
• AR-15 Magpul MOE pistol grip (FDE)
• LA-5B/PEQ tactical device

HK 416A5s are not rare weapon spawns, if players check weapon crates regularly they will find one and be able to continue with this task cheaply. As seen above, the weapon will need to be 80 durability, otherwise Mechanic will not accept the weapon. Therefore, before purchasing the gun off the flea market, you should check the condition of the weapon to ensure you're not being ripped off.

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 14

To complete Gunsmith Part 14, modify the HK 416A5 with these attachments:

Due to the number of attachments, it's recommended you purchase them to save an abundance of time, the SureFire SOCOM556 can be found in weapon containers and PMCs.

• Unlocks purchase of Magpul PRS GEN3 stock (Black) at Peacekeeper LL3
