Tarkov Gunsmith Part 9 Mechanic Quest Guide

After concluding Escape from Tarkov's Gunsmith Part 8 and reaching level 19, Mechanic will award you the gift of Gunsmith Part 9. Whether you're trying to obtain the Kappa container or just level up, Mechanics Gunsmith tasks are an impeccable and reliable way to progress through Escape from Tarkov. Strangely enough, Gunsmith Part 9 features a pistol build, resulting in a quick, easy, and cheap Gunsmith quest hopefully teaching Tarkov players that pistols are worthy weapons to be used on a battlefield.

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 9

Gunsmith Part 9 will require a series of weapon attachments for the P226R following these criteria:

• 60 Durability
• 610 or less recoil
• 80 or more ergonomics
• P226 Stainless Elite pistol slide
• P226 Stainless Elite Wooden pistol grip
• P226 9x19 20-round extended magazine
• Any tactical device (such as the NcSTAR Tactical blue laser LAM-module)

Players are going to be unaware of the attachments related to a pistol as they are irregularly used seriously by players. Therefore, the guide has been provided below featuring all the attachments and traders used to purchase the items. Due to players needing level 19, Flea market access has been granted and the attachments will be available via Flea if Merchant access is denied due to loyalty level. 

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 9

To complete Gunsmith Part 9, modify the P226R with these attachments:

Possibly being Mechanic loyalty level 2, players may struggle to obtain the pistol slide and grip. Finding these items on the Flea market will be relatively easy and prove a quick solution, however, if you lack money and resources, searching for weapon crates is the only resolution! 

Gunsmith Part 9 Rewards

Here are the following rewards for completing Gunsmith Part 9:

• +9,800 EXP
• Mechanic Rep +0.02
• 300 Euros
  • 315 Euros with Intelligence Center Level 1
  • 345 Euros Intelligence Center Level 2
• 2× Gunpowder "Hawk"
• Unlocks purchase of Colt M4A1 5.56x45 assault rifle (variant SOPMOD I) at Mechanic LL3
• Unlocks purchase of 5.7x28mm R37.F at Mechanic LL4

Despite the rewards being underwhelming due to the Euros, it still provides worthy. The quest overall probably took less than five minutes and you received a lot of XP and unlocks, cheer up!
