There is a tonne of content in the WoW Dragonflight Embers of Neltharion (10.1) update, from a massive new zone called Zaralek Cavern to a new World Boss, the Aberrus Raid, and more. However, no World of Warcraft player has ever said no to more mounts or toys, which is where the WoW Dragonflight Blazing Hippogryph mount and the Ethereal Portal come into play.
This guide explains exactly how you can get your hands on the Blazing Hippogryph mount and the Ethereal Portal toy, including the exact start and end dates/times for the promotion on Twitch, so let's jump in.
Get Ethereal Portal in WoW Dragonflight
If you want to get the Ethereal Portal toy in WoW Dragonflight, you simply need to watch four (4) hours of World of Warcraft on Twitch between the following dates and times:
- Start Time: May 2nd, 10:00 a.m. PDT
- End Time: May 9th, 9:59 a.m. PDT
To get WoW Dragonflight Twitch drop rewards, players must link their Twitch account to their Battle.net account. You can do so by heading over to this page. An important note is that anyone who has changed their password or made any changes to their Twitch or Battle.net account recently will have to relink their account. This pertains not only to the Ethereal Portal, but also to the Blazing Hippogryph mount.
Get Blazing Hippogryph Mount in WoW Dragonflight
Some players have already received the Blazing Hippogryph mount. This is due to an error on the part of Blizzard, who explained: "Players who previously received the mount will keep the mount, and they’ll also get the toy. This may require logging out and back in."
For the rest of us, we just have to watch any Dragonflight stream on Twitch.tv for at least four (4) hours between the following times:
- Start Time: May 9th, 10:00 a.m. PDT
- End Time: May 17th, 10:00 a.m. PDT
Yes, you can jump around between streams, as you do not have to watch one particular stream to amass the four hours required for this WoW Dragonflight Twitch drop.
