MW2 Season 4 Increases Prestige Ranks: All New Ranks Explained

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 is dropping June 14 with a bang, following a new Warzone map, new weapons, operators, and most excitingly to those who grind multiplayer, new ranks, and prestiges. With all these exciting new features dropping within the next week, players are beginning to go crazy over the new update due to the sheer level of new content. 

Despite many players disliking the current leveling-up system in recent Call of Duty titles due to its inconsistency, MW2 has again added new ranks and prestiges for players to achieve. This allows players to feel like progression is taking place, as many have been grinding (what feels like) empty hours towards their rank that isn't progressing. Nothing is perfect, but at least we get new levels! 

Modern Warfare Season 04 New Ranks 

The image above displays the new ranks coming to the MW2 Season 4 update on June 14 and the rank designs look awesome. Whether you're currently a high or low level, players who obtain these ranks deserve respect — they've been loyal to the grind and can flex their efforts through these badges of honor. 

The current prestige cap is at 13 and will be increasing to Prestige 17 within this Modern Warfare season, with a new level cap of 850. As per usual, each prestige comes with its unique and identifiable icon seen above. The levels are as follows:

• Prestige 14: Unlocked at Level 700.
• Prestige 15: Unlocked at Level 750.
• Prestige 16: Unlocked at Level 800.
• Prestige 17: Unlocked at Level 850 — maximum level within Season 04.

Hopefully, these ranks will keep most of the Modern Warfare 2 players happy. There is plenty of growth to be achieved here, allowing players another comfortable 200 ranks worth of space. Many players will thrive through these ranks, especially when enjoying the new maps Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 offers and weapons to play about with.
