Who Is Meredith Stout In Cyberpunk 2077

Meredith Stout is a sexy Corpo lady of Night City and an agent of the notorious Corpo company Militech. She finds herself in trouble with her superiors early in the story and is on a mission to return to their good graces.

With your help, she may be able to do just that! So why not give a shot at romance with Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077 a try?

How To Romance Meredith Stout Cyberpunk 2077

You will meet Meredith Stout at the beginning of the game with seemingly no chance at romance, but you would be wrong. To have a chance at love with Meredith Stout, you first need to call her, which is optional, during the mission "The Pickup."

The Pickup

After the call, you will be able to meet up with her and discuss how you can help one another out in this current situation that you find yourselves in. Any character from any faction can romance Meredith Stout, but we suggest you use a Corpo character for more unique options in dialogue and romance.

If you are a Corpo, choose the "This bind you're in. I get it." option when it becomes available. She will then offer you a Credchip that Militech can trace to take to the Maelstrom gang. Your goal here is to help Meredith by giving the gang the chip or killing them; either option will allow you to start the romance.

It is extremely important that you do not warn the gang about the virus on the Credchip. Also, do not remove the virus either. If either option is chosen, you will not be able to romance Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077. Once you have done your part, you can see Meredith Stout complete the mission and enable the romance.

Venus In Furs

Okay, so you managed to get this far without messing up, so how do you romance Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077? This part is fairly easy. Meredith will contact you on your cell. She will message you to say thank you for helping her on the mission.

This will trigger the Venus In Furs romance mission, where you must first message her back on your phone. Your responses here don't matter too much as long as you respond in time and do what's needed afterward.

She will suggest you meet up at No-Tell Motel, which is highly recommended if you want to romance Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077. Regardless of how you reply to her, she will be waiting for you at the motel as long as you respond. If you don't answer, she won't be there.

Once you see Meredith, she will say that you are undoubtedly surprised to see her, after which you can share a night of passion! After that, you will wake up, and she will be gone. She will leave behind a Corpo Baton that you can use to beat people up in Night City.

Now, you may be expecting more from this romance after this point and be wondering why Meredith Stout has not been seen or heard from for the rest of the game. She is a busy woman, after all.

Alternate Ending For Meredith Stout

If you choose not to pursue the romance with Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077 and instead decide to take the side of Maelstrom, then things drastically change for her. Not only will she not be romanceable, but she will, in fact, be dead.

That is right. As punishment for her failures, Militech will kill her and shave her head. That's not all, though, as they will beat her up, put her feet in concrete, and then drown her—a disturbing end for the best Corpo girl around.

If you still want to see Meredith Stout after she dies, she can be found underwater wearing her newly made concrete footwear. If you visit her underwater, your character will tell Johnny that you knew her, and then the lines "Mhm, Militech don't forgive, Militech don't forget."

The job security for the Corpo seems a bit too low.

After talking with Johnny, you'll unlock Meredith Stout's alternate ending. But remember, you need to finish the first part of the game to access this ending. If you try to reach this conclusion without Johnny, Meredith won't appear.

This rather unfortunate ending is a sad alternative to the romance of Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077 and highlights just how ruthless Night City can be. That said, we suggest you romance this Corpo mistress and save her from death. Love will set you free -- or, in this case, literally save Meredith Stout's life in Cyberpunk 2077. And that's all.
