Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship – Schedule, Format, Rewards, Rules & Qualifying Info

The first official tournament for Call of Duty: Mobile is on the horizon and we've got everything you need to know about qualifying and gain some sweet rewards.

With over 150 million downloads and counting since it’s launch in October Call of Duty: Mobile has been a huge success on a platform that hadn’t always received the best games from the blockbuster franchise.

Esports was always on the cards for the mobile version of the game, and now we have details for the first official competition – with the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship giving players from around the world the chance to be crowned the best squad in the game and get their hands on some of the ,000,000 prize pool.

Players who want to compete will get the chance in four open online qualifiers to be played on each weekend between 30th April – 24th May, the very best will move onto Stage 2 where they will form a team with other qualified players.

To be eligible for the open qualifiers players will need to be Veteran I rank or higher.

Stage 1

Weekend 1: May 2-3
Weekend 2: May 9-10
Weekend 3: May 16-17
Weekend 4: May 23-24

Stage 2

There is no confirmed date for Stage 2 – we will update this information as it’s released.

 

Format

In Stage 1 players will be required to play ten matches, players will be awarded points for individual wins. The higher your rank the more points you will be rewarded.

Players who reach 80 points in any weekend will qualify for Stage 2. 

Players can play as many weekends as they wish, even once they qualify.

Rules

  • Players must be over 18 years of age.
  • Players can not use an external device or attachment such as a Bluetooth controller, wired controller, mouse, or keyboard.
  • Players can not use a desktop emulator.
  • Players must reside in an eligible country.
