Atlanta FaZe $100K Gold Rush Warzone: Schedule, players, format, how to watch, more

Atlanta FaZe $100K Gold Rush and $50K Cash Grab gather some of the biggest Warzone content creators to celebrate the start of Season 3, and here's everything you need to know about the tournament.

Update: While the Cash Grab went off without a hitch, the Gold Rush was less fortunate, scheduled to coincide with the release of Warzone Season 3, server issues on launch day forced it to reschedule. The details for the rescheduled event are below.

Warzone Season 3 is finally here, and to kick things off Atlanta FaZe and Activision are holding a huge Warzone tournament.

Atlanta FaZe $100K Gold Rush will take place on the first day of Season 3, followed by a $50K Cash Grab event, and both will bring together your favourite Warzone streamers and content creators to showcase their skills and introduce as to the early meta of the new season.

With all the changes coming to Warzone, including a brand new 80s Verdansk map, six new weapons, and a long list of balance changes, this tournament looks like a perfect opportunity for both content creators and fans to get familiar with all the changes and try to figure out what are the best weapons and loadouts during the early meta of Season 3.

With crème de la crème players of the NA region and all new stuff coming with Season 3, this tournament is something that Warzone players absolutely need to watch.

Here are all the details you should know about the event.

Both of these events are 1-day tournaments, with two days of non-stop Warzone action in total.

Atlanta FaZe $100K Gold Rush has been re-scheduled for 5th May, it starts at 1 pm PST / 4 pm EST / 9 pm BST.

Atlanta FaZe $50K Global Cash Grab is scheduled for 23rd April, and it starts at 1 pm PST / 4 pm EST / 9 pm BST.

Both the Gold Rush and $50K Global Cash Grab  are Duos events, and both will have the same rules:

  • Duos Public Matchmaking
  • Kill Race
    • 1 point per kill
    • Bonus for placement
  • 5-hour time limit
  • The best 5 games submitted

$100K Gold Rush and $50K Global Cash Grab Prize Pool

As the names of the tournaments suggest, Gold Rush will feature a hefty prize pool of $100K+, but with an exciting twist! Duos will fight for actual gold, as the rewards will be delivered in the form of gold bars!

The $50K Global Cash event will not be as extravagant, as players will be rewarded will regular money.

At the time of writing, the exact prize distribution hasn't yet been revealed.
