Best Automaton class setup for COD Vanguard

The Automaton assault rifle has been a secretly broken weapon in Call of Duty: Vanguard since the release last week, and the player base is just now slowly starting to realise the weapon's full deadly potential.

Making a return in the series, the Automaton was previously featured in COD WW2, another Sledgehammer game set in the era, where it was also a decent option in competitive play.

Now, its slightly different version poses a serious threat to be the first gun that will break the meta, thanks to its incredible accuracy, fast rate of fire, and solid range.

The Automaton offsets its lack of firepower by being one of the most stable assault rifles in the game, making it a reliable choice for gunning down targets at range.

• Muzzle - Recoil Booster
  The Recoil Booster will further improve our fire rate and thus time-to-kill (TTK). But it will have a slightly negative effect on our precision, though that's not an issue with this assault rifle.
• Barrel -  Empress 620MM Precision
  This one is the core of our build. It significantly improves the weapon's accuracy and controllability, while also speeding up ADS, creating a gun that will allow us to react quickly and take down targets before they get a chance to shoot back at us. On top of that, it provides an insane headshot damage bonus and it improves damage range to make sure that we will land those headshots more consistently.  And we will need that because it also reduces body damage.
• Optic - Slate Reflector
  Though we go with the Slate Reflector, there's space for other choices here, as this is something that depends on your personal preferences and feeling when playing the game. 
• Stock - Empress Broadsword
  The Automaton definitely lacks in explosiveness, and that's where the Empress Broadsword comes into play by boosting our initial accuracy and recoil control/recovery, while further improving ADS speed.
  

  

• Underbarrel - Carver Foregrip
  We are mainly taking this one for the recoil control it provides, as a bonus to hip-fire accuracy is not really of value for this build.
• Magazine - 6.5MM Sakura 75 rounds drums
  Is this a heavy machine gun? It's not but we are making it into one! With high precision and snappiness, a large amount of ammo will make sure that you will have the upper hand in the heat of battle.
• Ammo Type - Lengthened
  Increased muzzle velocity which comes with these bullets will further strengthen our ranged combat capabilities.
• Rear Grip - Fabric Grip
  The Fabric Grip heightens our already god-like ADS speed, with added bonuses for sprint-to-fire and hip fire recoil recovery.
• Proficiency - Frenzy
  Frenzy goes perfectly with this build as we will definitely have a lot of kills, and this leeching ability will help us recover from previous encounters, by healing us for each kill.
• Kit - Fully Loaded
  This will help us utilize our big magazine from the beginning, as we are starting the game with a fully loaded mag.
