Best BAR loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 1

In many ways, a precursor to modern all-purpose assault rifles, with the right attachments the BAR can mix it with the best in Warzone Pacific.

Vanguard weapons have arrived in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific and they have the potential to radically transform the competitive meta, boasting a mind-boggling 10 attachments, unlike Modern Warfare and Black Ops guns, which are designed with significantly fewer customisation options in mind.

That is going to offer unparalleled customisation options and while the vast majority of Vanguard's arsenal is WW2-era, at the end of the day, bullets are bullets and many of that game's weapons are proving a hit in Caldera.

The German-made STG 44 may well be considered the best Vanguard assault rifle at the moment but there are a few worthy contenders for that mantle, one of those being the Browning Automatic Rifle or BAR for short.

This weapon was the US Army's light machine gun of choice and was not only widely adopted but highly versatile, capable of being outfitted as an infantry support weapon to something more akin to the modern assault rifle.

It's the perfect base for a weapon that can come to dominate Warzone's Caldera map, capable of putting down some serious firepower and excelling in medium and long-range combat.

The BAR is a versatile assault rifle but it has two main drawbacks in its vanilla form; its small magazine size and relatively slow RPM compared to other assault rifles.

This loadout is designed to mitigate against those issues.

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: CGC 27" 2B
  • Optic: 1228/Slate 3.25x Custom
  • Stock: Cooper SP
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 50 BMG 30 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Perk 1: Hardscope
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

On the positive side, the BAR possesses huge damage output making its time-to-kill (TTK) very low.

For the muzzle, we have opted for the Mercury Silencer, which, at a small cost to damage range, increases recoil control and sound impression, keeping you successfully off your opponent's mini-map.

For the barrel, the CGC 27" 2B makes the gun a verifiable later beam, which then makes the Optic, the 1228/Slate 3.25x Custom, which gives you both 1.25x and 3.25x magnification.

For the stock, we have opted for the Cooper SP. The m1941 Hand Stop underbarrel is another great addition improving both recoil and accuracy, combine that with the Stippled Grip and you're laughing.

The 50 BMG 30 Round Mag, helps get more bullets at your disposal with the meta Lengthened ammo type offering you up even greater bullet velocity.

For weapon perks, we have opted for Hardscope and Fully Loaded, with the former improving accuracy in sustained firing when in ADS and Fully Loaded giving you max ammo from the get-go.

Best Perks and equipment for the BAR in Warzone Pacific

  • Perk 1: E.O.D.
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Lightweight
  • Secondary: Top Break
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stun

Of course, the best attachments for the BAR is just the beginning, as your Perks and equipment will further improve your viability in the field.

For the BAR, we have opted for E.O.D, which reduces damage taken from explosives. Ghost, which makes you undetectable while moving by Spy Planes, enemy intel and Field Mics and Lightweight which increases your movement speed.

For a secondary weapon, we have opted for the currently "OP" Top Break pistol. This thing is an absolute beast and, get the right loadout on that, and you will be downing opponents like no one's business.

We round out the loadout with Semtex and Stuns, the perfect Lethal and Tactical equipment to soften up opponents before mowing them down with your BAR.
