Best M1 Garand class setup for COD Vanguard

If you have honed your skills from a distance, then the M1 Garand is bound to become your weapon of choice as it combines range and damage in Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Best M1 Garand class setup for COD Vanguard

We are about to reach the first week since the official release of the latest Call of Duty instalment, Vanguard, and the community has been all over the game discovering every new map and perk that it has to offer.

As with every other edition within the franchise, Vanguard offers an exclusive armoury for all likes and preferences, whether you are a short-distance, shotgun kind of player or a long-distance marksman the choice is up to you.

There are, nonetheless, some weapons that are a very healthy middle between those two; case in point, the M1 Garand. This infantry rifle has become legendary and is considered part of the reason the Allies emerged victorious in a war where their enemies were largely running around with bolt-action rifles.

It's also one of the best in Vanguard and with the right attachments and class setup, it can mix it with even the best assault rifles.

How to build the best M1 Garand Loadout in COD Vanguard

Vanguard allows players to equip certain weapons with up to ten attachments, doubling everything we have known so far in the Call of Duty franchise, and this obviously offers us a wider range of customization.

For this weapon, our best loadout will look like the following:

  • Muzzle: Mk. 2 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Cooper 21” Shrouded
  • Optic: Zeiss G16 2.5x
  • Stock: CGC G2 Thumbhole
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Madson
  • Magazine: .30-06 16 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Hardscope
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

This setup would be amazing for bigger maps as it offers you great recoil control and a better fire rate than the Kar98k/

The Mk. 2 Stabilizer muzzle will greatly improve accuracy at a distance while the 16-round magazine will allow you to down multiple opponents without the need for reloading.

While this weapon will work great from a distance it will become complicated to use efficiently on smaller maps as the hip fire and aiming is considerably slower and it would be best to pair this up with an SMG.
