MW2 & Warzone 2- How To Unlock Blood Cell and Polished Camos

With both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 seeing tons of new content added after the arrival of Season 5, many players are jumping headfirst into the action. And with new content, of course, come new rewards, such as the new animated Blood Cell and Polished Camos, which have many players wondering how to get them.

Well, you won't have to wonder for much longer, as this guide will break down everything you need to know to get the new Blood Cell and Polished Camos in both MW2 and Warzone 2. So without further delay, let's jump right in and claim these awesome Camos! 

Unlock Blood Cell & Polished Camos in WZ2 and MW2

To provide context, the latest Factions Event introduced in Season 5 for both games brings a fresh approach compared to previous events. In this event, players had the opportunity to align themselves with one of the CoD-themed factions, namely Shadow Company and Task Force 141, engaging in competitive battles to secure prizes. However, earning the Blood Cell and Polished camos demands more than just winning matches.

MW2 & Warzone 2 - How To Unlock Blood Cell Camo

For the Blood Cell animated Camo, Warzone 2 and MW2 players should join the Shadow Company Faction and complete all challenges before August 16, 2023. It's crucial to note that this camo will be rewarded solely to players from the winning faction who've completed all objectives.

The list of challenges to obtain the Blood Cell camo includes:

1. Eliminate 50 Operators.
2. Achieve 15 Sniper kills while Focused.
3. Take down 15 Operators from behind using an SMG.
4. Dispatch 10 Operators with Launchers.
5. Defeat 5 Operators using Lethal Equipment.

At the end of the August event, players who have completed the challenges mentioned above will have the opportunity to win the Blood Cell Camo if their faction emerges as the overall victor. 

MW2 & Warzone 2 - How To Unlock Polished Camo

In Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2, players who join the Task Force 141 Faction, complete all objectives, and lead their faction to victory in the August public event will unlock the animated Polished camo.

Here are the objectives to unlock the Polished skin:

1. Eliminate 50 Operators.
2. Achieve 10 Operators with Battle Rifle Long-Shots.
3. Take down 40 Operators with Assault Rifle ADS.
4. Perform 3 Operator eliminations using melee.
5. Execute a finishing move.

What happens if you fail to claim the camos before the event concludes? Well, it's bittersweet as only one of the camos will likely be obtainable after the event ends. As it currently stands, only one of the camos will remain in the game -the camo belonging to the winning faction- while the other will be removed completely. 

Activision may reintroduce the lost camouflage in future public events, but it's unclear whether players will have the option to purchase the Blood Cell and Polished camos separately.
