Call of Duty: Warzone, just like every other online game, has its fair share of bugs and errors that you might face from time to time. One of them is the “status: Goldflake” error that has been reported by players a number of times after the Pacific update.
It restricts players from entering the game, spoiling their gameplay experience. As per the reports, the Goldflake error occurs when a player puts its system, i.e. PC or console, on a power-saving mode and then try to log into the Warzone.
Alternatively, the use of the Quick Resume feature on Xbox Series X/S is also a reason for this error to pop up.
Warzone: Goldflake error fix
While there is no permanent solution for the status Goldflake error in Warzone, here’s a guide on the potential fixes to suppress this error temporarily:
- Encounter the “status: Goldflake” error in the Warzone Pacific menu.
- Once you do it, instead of exiting the game, restart your system.
- After your PC/Xbox/PlayStation reboots, start Warzone once again, and you should be able to play the game.
While this fix has worked for many players, if you still encounter it, you can uninstall the game and then reinstall it to fix this issue.
Players are annoyed with the Goldflake error that they are facing constantly in Warzone as one of them tweets, “Get it together. Cant even go to the warzone menu cause if the goldflake error and nothing i do fixes it. Not messing with data packs, or game add ons. I finally deleted the game cause im sick of the hassle. Unreal.”
Nah can you please just make it so Xbox users can’t be forced in a cross platform lobby and also please fix status goldflake my warzone is unplayable

Activision should acknowledge it as soon as possible so that players can continue playing Warzone. We will update this article once Activision provides a permanent solution to this problem.
