Weapon Trade Stations are one of the newest features added to Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 Reloaded. So, it's understandable if some players are finding them somewhat confusing.
However, these new structures are not to be overlooked, as they can change the tides of battle and offer up fantastic items if you are lucky. This guide will explain everything you need to know about Weapon Trade Stations, including how they work and how to unlock them in Warzone Season 2 Reloaded.
What are Weapon Trade Stations in Warzone Pacific?
As mentioned earlier, Weapon Trade Stations are a new feature added to Warzone Pacific Season 2 and form part of the Rebirth Island Reinforced map.
According to the official Call of Duty blog post, "Weapon Trade Stations allow an Operator to give up their weapon in exchange for one of lesser quality plus additional items, depending on the original weapon's rarity."
If you're wondering what these items comprise, you'll be happy to know that it includes Cash, equipment, Armor Satchels, Self-Revive Kits, Killstreaks, or even a Specialist Token.
This feature is handy if you have a rare weapon that you aren't too attached to and need the extra items or if you're feeling lucky and want to gamble your gun for a different item.
How to unlock Weapon Trade Stations in Warzone Pacific
According to the developers, Weapon Trade Stations can only be unlocked "if the entire [Warzone] community earns enough kills following the update." Unfortunately, this means that a single player cannot unlock the feature in Warzone but must instead participate in the Rebirth Reinforced Events Community Challenges.

In addition to unlocking access to the Weapon Trade Station, all those who participated will automatically receive 25,000 XP as a bonus. Notably, the developers did not indicate the required number of kills to unlock the feature.
What can you get at Weapon Trade Stations in Warzone Pacific?
If you're wondering what you can get at Weapon Trade Stations, don't worry, we've got you covered. Trading in a Common Gun will earn you a random gun with a full clip (i.e., one magazine or clip, with no additional ammo) of the same rarity.
However, trading in an Uncommon gun will earn you a Common weapon with a full clip, plus one random Lethal Equipment and Tactical Equipment. Similarly, trading a Rare gun or Melee weapon will earn you a Common gun with a full clip, plus a Gas Mask and Armor Satchel Rare Field Upgrade.
If you are trading in an Epic gun, you will earn an Uncommon weapon with a full clip (with two extra clips), a Self-Revive Kit, an Armor Satchel or Epic Killstreak or Epic Field Upgrade, plus a random amount of in-game Cash between $500-800.
Perhaps the best return would be trading in a Legendary, Ultra or Heroic rarity gun. In return, you will receive a Rare weapon with a full clip and two extra clips, a Legendary Killstreak, a Legendary Field Upgrade or Specialist Token (super rare), a random Lethal or Tactical Equipment, plus random in-game Cash between $800-1200.
Finally, if you are trading in a custom loadout, your returns will depend on the number of attachments. The higher number, the higher the rewards from the trade will be from the Weapon Trade Station.
Activision says there will be three more Community Challenges, each offering more XP and exclusive features, including Communication Stations, Armored Transport Vehicles, and more. While the details around these upcoming challenges are unclear, don't worry. We will endeavour to update you as soon as more information is known.
