How To Get PTZ CCTV Security Cameras In Rust

If you want to use and control your PTZ CCTV cameras in Rust, the first thing you will need is a computer station. You can craft a computer station with a Level 2 Workbench for 230 Scrap or purchase it from the Outpost for 300 Scrap. You can also research it directly at a Research Table for 75 Scrap or find it in loot containers if you are satisfied with the low drop chance.

To craft a PTZ CCTV in Rust, you will need a Level 2 Workbench and 305 Scrap, or you can research it for 75 Scrap. The PTZ security camera has 150 health and can be controlled by connecting it to your computer station, authorizing yourself to the tool cupboard, and inputting its unique CCTV camera codes. Once connected, you can control the camera using your mouse and the left mouse button. The camera will remember its state when you exit.

Remember to keep the unique IDs of your PTZ cameras in Rust a secret and input them into the computer station to gain access to them whenever you want. Unlike their drone counterparts, these CCTV cameras are fairly durable as they have 150 health and can take quite a beating before being destroyed. Although, they can be repaired with meta fragments if they are broken.

In addition, they are immune to damage from arrows, so low-level players cannot harass and damage them. Set them up in a manner that gives you the best field of vision possible to help with potential raids and other dangers, it is best to add a few turrets near them.

And that's everything you need to know about how to craft and set up PTZ CCTV security cameras in Rust. So get all the Scrap you need and start mounting those cameras around your base, and we will see you in the next guide!
