Tarkov Arena Preset Tier-List For Patch 14.0

Escape from Tarkov Arena provides a series of different preset options for players to choose from, ranging from Scout, Assault, Close-quarter Combat (CQB), and finally, Marksman. Thankfully, we're going to showcase the best to worst of these. These four preset options allow players to explore different loadouts within Arena, however, the leveling system requires players to commit to one of these four preset options to see an increase in progress, leading to players focussing on one preset. 

EFT Arena Scout Preset: C-Tier 

The scout preset option within Arena feels incredibly feeble through low utility. Players are forced into using low armor, terrible ammunition, and pea-shooter-like weapons through the initial development of the preset, leading to low progression of the classes. 

All arena maps have close-quarter fighting locations, however, the scout preset struggles to reach these locations due to being sniped, blown up, or generally killed by enemy players. The overall ambitions of the scout class lack adaptability within the EFT arena and therefore come last on this list.

EFT Arena Marksman Preset: B-Tier 

The Marksman preset allows players to provide overwatch or flank cover on every map on Arena, allowing teammates to feel secure with you covering them. Despite lacking intense combat situations, a single Marksman is necessary to become the victor of the Arena.

Players can detach unwanted attachments from most Marksman weapons, allowing for slight adaptability in medium to closer-range fights. The raw stopping power and high ammunition caliber allow the marksman preset to be a valuable choice for players.

EFT Arena CQB Preset: A-Tier 

The CQB preset provides players with the typical "Call of Duty" feel within the Arena, allowing players to run and gun their enemies in almost every situation. Despite lacking long-range capabilities, the CQB loadout provides pristine covering fire and protection.

Players developing their CQB loadouts will experience an enjoyable Arena career, leading to great weapons, armor, and attachments once their loadout has matured. It's highly recommended players use the CQB preset if they're combat-hungry and trigger-happy.

EFT Arena Assault Preset: S-Tier 

The assault preset is the overall crème de la crème of Arena presets, leading to players developing their assault loadouts in almost every direction. The assault class provides an adaptable experience, readying players for any combative experience within the Arena.

The assault's preset development leads to excellent classes, showcasing a wide plethora of weaponry to Arena players who choose the assault route. The development, adaptability, and utility the assault class provides makes it a flawless preset within Arena.
