When it comes to World of Warcraft, the raids are part of the main reason why people play this game. World of Warcraft has always had some of the best raid content in the history of MMORPG games. Now that we are in Season 3 of Dragonflight, even more raids are now available for players to challenge.

In the Emerald Dream, there is a raid known as the Amirdrassil Raid. In this raid, there is a boss known as the Gnarlroot. When it comes to any raid boss, having enough information going into the fight will be essential. So, we are here today to go over how players can take on and beat the Gnarlroot Boss in the Amirdrassil Raid.

For the Gnarlroot Raid boss in Dragonflight, knowing what moves to avoid and which to absorb is key. Flaming Pestilence will summon ADs which are additional enemies players will have to take care of. Controlled Burn will target some players and they will need to run away to avoid giving the raid party heavy damage. Shadowflame Cleave will simply need to be avoided and Tortured Scream will do minimum damage to the raiding party.

What is important is when Gnarlroot summons roots from Doom Cultivation. Players will need to spread out and get hit with a debuff called Ember-Charred. Every player hit with this Debuff will have to touch the roots to burn them. Once that is done, Gnarlroot will become vulnerable and take additional damage for 20 seconds. Deal the big damage here. In heroic, rinse and repeat and that should be the end of Gnarlroot.

Of course, the big reward for defeating Gnarlroot in the Amidrassil Raid is the loot. When it comes to any raid, all items only have a certain percent chance of actually dropping. Even though that is the case, it is still worth going for these raids to potentially get the loot. Here is the loot table for Gnarlroot in the Amidrassil Raid:

  • Requiem Rootmantle - Cloth Shoulder
  • Anguished Restraints - Cloth Wrist
  • Silent Tormentor's Hood - Leather Head
  • Twisted Blossom Stompers - Leather Feet
  • Ancient Haubark - Mail Chest
  • Forlorn Leaf Clasp - Mail Waist
  • Seared Ironwood Greaves - Plate Legs
  • Inflammable Drapeleaf - Accessories: Cloak
  • Gnarlroot's Bonecrusher - Two-Handed Mace
  • Staff of Incandescent Torment - Two-Handed Staff
  • Defender of the Ancient - Off-Handed Shield
  • Branch of the Tormented Ancient - Trinket

Of course, not every single piece of loot will drop after defeating the Gnarlroot boss. Players will have to make multiple runs to get their desired loot drop from Gnarlroot. All of the item levels for the Gnarlroot boss are 441, so it is well worth the trouble.
