Excitement for Warzone Pacific is reaching fever-pitch as there are just a few short hours before the game is available to Call of Duty: Vanguard owners and then 24-hours later, for everyone.
And while everyone is looking forward to a bright new future on Caldera, Activision Blizzard is making sure to commemorate the past; putting out a poem in honour of the now mothballed Verdansk, and also celebrating this year’s CDL Champions, Atlanta Faze, with a very prominent display in what is set to be one of Caldera’s most fought-over POIs.
The faces of Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, Chris “Simp” Lehr, McArthur “Cellium” Jovel, and Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris adorn the banners that drape over the hotel at the Resort POI, and in the courtyard stands the CDL trophy.
FaZe Arcitys and Simp have also said their piece, with the former calling it “BEAUTIFUL” and Simp playing it cool with a “hey that’s us”.

Atlanta FaZe won the CDL Championship in stunning fashion when they defeated Toronto Ultra, 5-3 in the CDL Championship final taking home $1,200,000 in the process.
Atlanta FaZe are not the first team to be honoured in such a way, that would be Dallas Empire whose 2020 victory, over Atlanta FaZe no less, saw them get top billing on Verdansk’s Stadium.
The Resort, like the Stadium, looks like it will be one of the game’s loot-heavy drop zones and the fight for supremacy over it will be intense. A fitting place as any for the game’s best team to watch reign over.
