Escape from Tarkov Arena has been in the depths of players’ consciousness for the last several months, wondering when the day players can battle each other without gear fear will arrive. Fortunately, after the Escape from Tarkov showcase at TwitchCon Las Vegas, lead developer Nikita confirmed Arena will be arriving at Escape from Tarkov sooner than many suspected.
The majority of players assumed Escape from Tarkov Arena would launch following the next major update, however, Arena is coming before the next wipe!
Escape from Tarkov Arena Release Details
Escape from Tarkov has experienced an explosive run over the last two months; wiping the game on August 10th and pre-planning the future wipe in December has hyped players up to substantial heights. However, players were completely unaware Arena would release before the next wipe in December which has taken the player base by storm.
It’s likely we’re going to see Arena dropping in the middle of November, this will give the developers a month to test player reactions and patch bugs before the wipe in December when Battlestate Games will want to have an (almost) finished Arena mode.
Alongside Escape from Tarkov Arena coming within the next few months, Streets of Tarkov will be receiving a third expansion, a new ‘Heavy Killa‘ boss is also coming soon, and left shoulder shooting will be introduced into the game after all this time of the players requesting this ability.
