Best Close-Range AS44 Loadout In Warzone Season 4

There are a ton of weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 that can qualify as sniper support, but not many are as versatile as a close-range AS44. In addition to boasting a high fire rate, this A-tier assault rifle also has some of the lowest time-to-kill stats in Warzone.

Over time, the AS44 has been phased out of mid-range assault rifle builds in favor of other options, with many submachine guns capable of destroying the AS44 in close quarters combat. But pairing a sniper primary with the best CQC AS44 loadout in Warzone Season 4, you'll have some of the most versatile equipment in the game.

Warzone Season 4 - Best AS44 Close-Range Class Setup

Close-range attachments are the main focus of this AS44 loadout in Warzone Season 4, so the full list on the loadout will be different than the standard meta options. But there are still some basic requirements to ensure the Vanguard assault rifle is usable in the Battle Royale.

Recoil will be the largest problem on the AS44, so some attachments like the Barrel need to maintain control and effective damage range. Otherwise, mobility and fire rate will play an integral part in the loadout process; the AS44 is useful on Caldera and Fortune's Keep.

• Barrel: Kovalevskaya 615mm
• Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
• Rear Grip: Taped Grip
• Stock: ZAC 12A
• Optic: Slate Reflector

First up on the close-range loadout is the Recoil Booster for the Muzzle attachment. Most Call of Duty: Vanguard assault rifles win Warzone Season 4 will use the MX Silencer. Most of the time, this silencer offers far more versatile stats. But in close-quarters situations, an AS44 with a higher fire rate will offer better results.

Next is the Kovalevskaya 615mm, one of the main recoil control attachments in this loadout. Not only will the Kovalevskaya offer plenty of sustained control, but the weapon will also boost effective damage range. The third attachment is the M1941 Hand Stop Underbarrel; this is another major attachment that will help balance out some of the AS44's recoil.

Attachments like the Taped Grip and ZAC 12A will allow the AS44 to serve as a true sniper support weapon that melts at close or medium ranges. Mobility and sprint-to-fire are boosted with these attachments, ensuring you can get shots off before the enemy.

Ammunition is the last important component for this loadout, and in this case, the 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags will provide plenty of DPS, and we don't need to care about recoil as much here. It would help if you equipped Lengthened ammunition in tandem because extra velocity can never hurt. Some loadouts will use Subsonic, but we take the extra stats over the ability to hide.
