The FN Scar 17 has been one of the least popular assault rifles in Warzone for a long time, but can the weapon find its place in the Season 4 meta? We have tested the gun and we think that these attachments will provide you with the best class setup for the FN Scar 17 in Warzone Season 4.

When you think about powerful assault rifles in Warzone, the FN Scar 17 would definitely not be among your first choices.

The Scar provides solid damage output and it can be really destructive at long range, especially with its very high damage range and low, though rather unpredictable, recoil.

Unfortunately, the weapon suffers from unbearable inaccuracy at long range and has a really low magazine capacity, with only 20 rounds by default.
This makes the weapon fairly unreliable, especially in long-range combat, which negates the weapon's main advantages.

With some big nerfs to the CR-56 AMAX, there's a lot of space for players to experiment and potentially shake up the Season 4 meta, especially in regards to the assault rifle class, arguably the most important one.

Several underperforming assault rifles have received buffs, including the Scar, with both Neck damage and Upper Torso damage multipliers being increased, making it significantly more powerful.

Is this enough to salvage things for the FN Scar 17 and can the weapon actually find its place in the meta? Let's find out.

The main selling point of the FN Scar 17 is that the weapon can deal really solid damage at long range, but due to its unreliable accuracy, we would try to push the weapon more towards mid-range combat.

With that in mind, we think that these are the best attachments for the FN Scar 17 in Warzone Season 4.

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
It increases the damage range while buffing your accuracy, and has sound suppression. Exactly what we need to make this weapon viable.
Barrel: FORGE TAC 20.0"
It improves your Bullet Velocity, Damage Range, and Recoil Control, which will further solidify the FN Scar 17 as a great choice for long to mid-range combat options.
Ammo: 30 Rounds Mags
The weapon comes with just 20 Rounds Mags by default which is one of the weakest spots of the FN Scar 17.
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
It provides you with Recoil Stabilization and Aiming Stability, and we need to make the Scar reliable at a distance or we will simply not be able to land shots and our time-to-kill will be abysmal despite its raw damage output.
Optic: PBX Holo 7 Sight
It will give you a crisp sight picture, thus further improving your aim, while having a minor negative effect on ADS speed.

And that's it, we think that the FN Scar 17 has the potential to become a viable choice in Warzone Season 4 with this build!

During our playtime with this loadout, we found the weapon to be solid at mid-range combat, while also doing nicely at somewhat longer range, but we would definitely not recommend relying on this weapon for prolonged long-range skirmishes as it is simply not trustworthy for that kind of engages.
