Best Long-Range Meta Weapons After Warzone Season 4 Update

Here's a guide breaking down the best long-range meta weapons after the Warzone Pacific Season 4 update.
Best Long-Range Meta Weapons After Warzone Season 4 Update

The opening weeks have been ultra-exciting for Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 4, and players are enjoying the battle royale action as much as ever before. Of course, the new Summer season brought a host of changes including a new map, weapon balancing changes, and so much more.

While the new content has been a success to this point, Activision is always looking to improve the battle royale and has since implemented a July 7 Update for Warzone Pacific Season 4. The recent patch addresses a number of bug fixes, as well as more tweaks and changes to a few select weapons.

Many competitive players are now searching to see if the top-tier weapons have been altered by the recent changes. So here are the best long-range meta weapons after the Warzone Pacific Season 4 update.

M13 - Assault Rifle

The M13 Assault Rifle is definitely one of the best options for long-range gunfights in Warzone Pacific Season 4 given the current state of play. Remaining largely unchanged in the last few months of weapon balancing changes, the M13 is a rock-solid reliable weapon that is very user-friendly for beginner-level players.

It should be noted the M13 has awesome bullet velocity, in fact, it's one of the highest in the AR class. Utilize the impressive fire rate and superior damage range stats of the M13 to dominate gunfights at all distances in Warzone Season 4.

AS44 - Assault Rifle

The AS44 is an awesome long-range weapon in Warzone Pacific Season 4, so long as you kit out correctly with the optimal loadout. Range and damage stats are certainly impressive for the AS44, but you'll want to improve the ammo capacity through your loadout in order to take out more opponents per clip.

After the recent updates in Warzone Pacific Season 4, you should certainly have no trouble beaming opponents down with the AS44.

BAR - Assault Rifle

One of the most impressive Damage per Magazine stats in Warzone Pacific Season 4, the BAR is a top option for long-range gunfights in the current meta. The BAR doesn't have the quickest rate of fire, but its ability to carry stellar damage at longer ranges makes it a much more forgiving weapon than most others in its class.

Cooper Carbine - Assault Rifle

Similar to the M13, the Cooper Carbine boasts a well-rounded set of stats featuring a very impressive Time To Kill number. The Cooper Carbine has been brought back to the upper tier thanks to recent weapon balancing changes to Assault Rifles. Utilize an impressive combination of fire rate and range to take out your opponents from distance with the Cooper Carbine in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

NZ-41 - Assault Rifle

One of the few weapons affected by the June 7 Warzone Season 4 patch update, the NZ-41 was included for good reason. It had been mowing down opponents at long range and was considered the top choice in its class for that reason.

The update did not affect the damage or range stats for the NZ41, however, the recoil was nerfed. It will likely still be a meta weapon for long-range gunfights even given the nerfs, so just kit out for a bit more recoil control in your loadout to offset the changes.
