Best Owen Gun class setup for COD Vanguard

The Owen Gun SMG is definitely one of the most unique weapons in the latest Call of Duty game, Vanguard.

Asides from its rather distinctive and quirky shape (and there are many weird looking guns in this WW2-inspired game) what's also really unique about this weapon is that it is one of the most versatile SMGs currently available in COD Vanguard.

This full-auto SMG uses high calibre bullets and boasts unconventionally high accuracy for its class, making it perfect for medium-range encounters.

And with the best gunsmith setup we're about to present to you, you will be able to take out enemies from a distance extremely efficiently, making it one of the guns with the fastest time-to-kill (TTK) in Vanguard.

The best Owen Gun loadout for COD Vanguard

For the best Owen Gun SMG mid-range build in COD Vanguard, you should use the following attachments:

• Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  A standard silencer you should use in most cases.
• Barrel: Hockenson 305MM Precision
  It will significantly increase the already great accuracy of the Owen Gun, as well as headshot damage while decreasing ADS speed. Keep in mind that the body damage will be somewhat lower, so make sure to aim for the head!
• Optic: G16 2.5X
  A simple yet great mid-range optic to help us lock on the target and secure kills even faster.
• Stock: Removed Stock
  The Removed Stock will do wonders for all aspects of our mobility, by significantly improving movement speed, ADS speed, Sprint to Fire speed, and speed of walking while aiming. Though, keep in mind that it will have a detrimental effect on your accuracy and recoil control, so make sure that your aiming skills are up to the task.
• Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  Significantly improves recoil recovery (you will return faster to the initial position after shooting), and provides first shot accuracy, encouraging players to have the initiative in combat.
  

  

• Magazine: 8mm Kurz 60 Round Drums
  This magazine brings increased capacity with a larger calibre, which means a huge boost to the weapon's firepower with improved bullet velocity, range, damage, and penetration. But it comes with a huge downside, as it will devastate your recoil control and accuracy, among other things.
• Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  Removes damage penalty when hitting limbs
• Proficiency: Brace
  It gives you initial accuracy and recoil control, giving you an upper hand upon engaging with the enemy.
• Kit: Quick
  It increases your speed, making you even more mobile. At this point, you will jump around like a bolt of lightning, while gunning down your foes in a couple of shots.

And that's it, the perfect Owen Gun loadout to use in the COD Vanguard pre-season.

Make no mistake, this excellent build demands a lot of skill if you want to maximise your results, and you will need to land those headshots as often as possible, due to the nature of the build.
