Going with the mantra of "if you can't beat them, join them" we take a look at what is arguably the most overpowered Bayonet loadout using the Reach Kit during COD Vanguard's preseason while waiting for the inevitable nerf to arrive.
Best COD Vanguard Bayonet loadout (class setup)
The best Bayonet loadout truly only has three requirements. Players should pick "Removed Stock", combined with the Bayonet attachment, and the Reach Kit.
As an example of the best COD Vanguard Bayonet loadout for the powerful STG44 AR, check out all the attachments thanks to YouTuber TheseKnivesOnly below.

Note that the first four attachments are required, while the rest is up to the player and their style.
- Underbarrel: Bayonet
- Stock: Remove Stock
- Kit: Reach
- Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 30 Rounds
- Ammo type: Subsonic
- Muzzle: Chord Muzzle Break
- Barrel: VVD 320mm O2B
- Optic: Nydar Model 47
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Proficiency: Vital
You can also add a Throwing Knife to your class setup to become even more stabby...
Check out the video below showcasing the loadout in action, to devasting effect.
With this loadout, you can rush around the map, using the Bayonet charge to stab everyone in sight. While the Fast Melee kit could work as well, it is all about range.
Bayonet and Reach Kit is disgusting in Vanguard
There's no doubt that the Bayonet attachment combined with the Reach Kit in COD Vanguard on several weapons is completely broken.

Players are leaping towards their enemies with the Bayonet charge, one-shotting opponents from meters away.

The player uses the Bayonet class setup to magnificent effect.
COD Vanguard players are already expecting nerfs to this disgusting melee class setup. While the developers have not commented on the situation, we hope the Bayonet and Reach Kit combo do receive some nerfs before Season 1 officially begins on 2nd December 2021.
