UPDATE: Some players are reporting that their Twitch drop beta key is not showing on their Battle.net account, if you are having these problems we have a fix here.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is taking a step closer to its release with the beta opening up to Xbox One and PC players this weekend.

For those that pre-ordered of any of the games' platforms the beta will be open to you. However if you didn't there are still ways you can get your hands on a key to play it over the weekend.
One method is to grab one that are released through Treyarch's Discord channel - this isn't the easiest method as there are thousands trying to grab the 50 or so keys they drop each day.
The other, is to attempt to get one through Twitch drops in the same way we have seen with Valorant and Hyper Scape.
How to get Black Ops Cold War key via Twitch drops

Getting your hands on a key is easy and everyone who follows these insturctions will gain access to the beta.
If you have taken part in the Valorant key drop or similar schemes then you will likely know the process, but if not, or you need a reminder here is how to be in with a chance at Black Ops Cold War beta key through Twitch drops.
Link Your Twitch and Battle.net accounts
Head to your Twitch Connections and and click "connect" on Blizzard Battle.net and sign into your account. If you are unsure if you have succesfully linked your accounts you can head to the Battle.net Account Connections page and look for your Twitch account.
- Watch four (4) hours of Black Ops Cold War Twitch streams that have "drops enabled".
- Check your Twitch notifications after the four hours or your email you should recieve a message saying you now have access to the beta.
- Download and enjoy!
