The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3 update has arrived with a slew of new content. The latest patch includes the Caldera map, Dig Site, Operation Monarch event, and Caldera Iron Trials mode. Beyond this, there are a ton of weapon balance changes that have severely affected the best class setup of several firearms.
Unfortunately, everyone’s favourite Type 99 sniper rifle has received a massive nerf after the Season 3 update. As a result, players would no longer be able to get one shot kill outside of their max damage range. Considering this, let’s look at the best class setup for Warzone Type 99 as per the latest meta.
Best Type 99 loadout – Warzone Pacific Season 3
To get the most out of the Type 99 sniper rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 3, you will need to pick the perfect eight attachments to get the job done.
The best Type 99 loadout at the start of Warzone Season 3 is:
- Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
- Barrel: Shiraishi 712mm Sniper
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Removed Stock
- Underbarrel: Heavy Foregrip
- Magazine: 8mm Klauser 5 Round Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
To start off, we have gone for the Mercure Silencer as it’s a great attachment to conceal the bullet sound with the help of a suppressor. In addition to this, it reduces recoil at the cost of a slightly reduced damage range.
For the optic slot, we’ve decided to use SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x, which increases the accuracy and enhances the overall recoil control of the weapon. However, ADS speed is marginally compromised while using this attachment.
This loadout also uses Removed Stock for the stock counterpart, which is ideal for Type 99 during long-range fights. Alternatively, players can also choose Sakura CVR Custom for a more precise aim.

- Best XM4 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3
- Best M4A1 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3
The Heavy Foregrip underbarrel attachment keeps the weapon steady while aiming and helps maintain control during heavy fire. At the same time, fabric grip will ensure improved ADS speed and hip fire recoil recovery.
As you may notice, the goal here is to maximise Type 99’s overall mobility, damage output and range while using the attachments mentioned above. Overall, this Type 99 loadout is quite efficient for mid-long range combats.
So there you have it, the best Type 99 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 3, with all the right attachments.
