Update: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded has been released and with it, a raft of weapon balance changes have been implemented. The tier list below now reflects this.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 is here with plenty of new content for players to sink their teeth in, particularly in the weapons department, with Raven Software showcasing the MG-82, a new LMG that will join the battle royale.
Light-Machine Guns have clear strengths and weaknesses in Warzone. They're heavy, hard to control, and not snappy enough in tight spots, however, if you're looking for a powerhouse gun that can shred opponents at mid and long-range distances, LMGs are a perfect archetype.
While anything goes at the beginning of a season, we can safely assume almost all weapons will keep their spot in their current tiers, as Season 4 doesn't bring any balance changes to this weapon class.
With that said, let's take a look at the LGM tier list for Warzone Season 4.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded LMG tier list
We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.
S-Tier: The absolute best LMGs in Warzone.
A-Tier: With a great loadout these LMGs could go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.
B-Tier: In the right hands or in certain scenarios these LMGs are very capable.
C-Tier: This LMG tier requires you to run a perfect loadout. Can be used in specific scenarios to great effect but has some downsides as well.
D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other LMGs in this list.

Keeping their place at the top of the tier list, both the PKM and MG34 are spearheading the current Warzone LMG meta. They both feature attachments that can make recoil super easy to control and have insanely fast TTK, even for Call of Duty standards. Even if you don't have the best attachments, these are still ahead of the curve.
- Bruen MK9
Not even nerfs can keep the Bruen from being a top-tier LMG selection. It's one of the best-ranged options in this category although its rate of fire might not be as good as others. On the other hand, if you're looking for an easy to control LMG the FiNN should be your go-to. The M60 also received some buffs in the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update, moving it up one tier.
The popular MG34, however, moved from the S-Tier to the A-Tier due to the recent balance changes in the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update.
B-Tier Warzone LMGs
The Stoner has an amazing clip size and promises good recoil control, however, to fully take advantage of it you'll need to keep shooting for an extended period of time. Both these LMGs have a place in the meta but require a bit more skill and a good assortment of attachments.
We've decided to put the MG82 in this tier because although it's a beast when it comes to fire rate and ADS for an LMG, it also features the least damage-per-bullet in the entire class, so it requires more aim than other spray and pray guns.
C-Tier Warzone LMGs
Fans of this incredibly precise LMG have pleaded for buffs. Despite having a nice recoil control due to its low rate of fire, the mobility of the weapon is among the worse in the entire game.
D-Tier Warzone LMGs
Designed to be a jack of all trades type of gun, the Holger LMG doesn't end up excelling at anything. A very versatile yet deeply flawed weapon thanks to a wide variety of attachments, you're better off picking any other Light-Machine Gun in this list.
