Warzone Season 6 pre-download: How to download the 1.27 update early

Warzone Season 6 will release on 29th September at roughly 07:00 BST, and fans should be excited about the big changes and additions coming to the popular Battle Royale title, as well as Modern Warfare with update 1.27. You can get ready for the action by pre-downloading the Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 6 update.

Pre-download Warzone Season 6 update

To pre-download the Warzone and Modern Warfare Season 6 update, version 1.27, you will need to have a PS4. PC and Xbox One players won't be able to pre-download the update.

The download size for the Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 6 1.27 update is a whopping 20 GB on PS4.

To pre-download the update, you need to follow the simple steps below. 

• Turn on your PS4 and head into your library to select Warzone/Modern Warfare.
• Select options and then "Check for update".
• Your PS4 should find the update automatically from here, adding it to your download list.
• Finish downloading the update and wait for Season 6 to begin.

Some players have already received the update, while others should get the pre-download during the course of 28th September.

If you do have Automatic Downloads enabled (requires PS+) your PS4 will automatically start downloading the update once turned on.
