WoW Dragonflight Barter Brick: How To Get & Uses

Various aspects draw players into the world of WoW Dragonflight, and one in particular is the economy of the game which has players thinking through their options on what to buy, what to trade, and what to scrap. With the addition of the bartering system, the game also introduced the Barter Brick, which is a vital resource used to trade with NPCs for important items in the game.

WoW Dragonflight - How to get Barter Bricks

There are several ways to obtain Barter Bricks in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, including daily quests and a new type of quest called "sniffseeking-quests." Let's go through each method and where to start collecting them.

Upon reaching Loamm, players can speak to a suspicious-looking rat named Ponzo to begin the "Get Rich Quick" quest. This quest will introduce players to Barter Bricks and reward them with one upon completion.

Once players reach Renown rank three in Loam Niffen, they will receive another quest from Ponzo, leading them to the NPC, who will give them the "Bartering 101" quest. This quest requires players to go to Valdrakken and awards them with 10 Barter Bricks when completed.

After finishing the "Bartering 101" quest, players can start participating in daily quests with the Loamm Niffen. These daily quests are an efficient way to farm Barter Bricks, as each quest rewards 10 Bricks.

Another method of obtaining Barter Bricks is through sniffseeking, a new activity introduced in Dragonflight Patch 10.1. Players can use the "sniff" ability to locate buried items and then use the "burrow" ability to dig them up.

Completing sniffseeking-related quests will grant players two to four Barter Bricks, and they may also find other quest items during the process, which reward two Barter Bricks when accomplished. Additionally, there is a small chance of obtaining Barter Bricks from treasures and rare encounters.

WoW Dragonflight - How to Use Barter Bricks

Barter Bricks can be used in various ways. Multiple vendors in Loamm exclusively accept Barter Bricks as payment. These vendors offer items such as Ponzo's Cream, new Drakewatcher Manuscripts, Sniffseeking Digs, as well as a pet and a mount.

Currently, Barter Bricks are not accepted as currency by any other vendors. While players can sell Barter Bricks for some gold, it is not the most efficient method for making gold, so it is advised to hold onto them for other purposes.
