Fortnite references have been spotted in the patch notes for the current World of Warcraft Public Test Realm, suggesting that a Fortnite crossover could potentially be on the horizon.
As noticed by Wowhead, the patch notes include the following references to Fortnite, among many others:
"Slurp Drink- The Renegade Looter slurps refreshing juice, healing for 2% health every 1 sec.
Glug Jug- Consume the Glug Jug to restore full health.
The Storm- The Storm Inflicts 10 Nature Damage every 1 sec to players not within its eyes"
It's worth noting that World of Warcraft often references other games, so there's the chance that this is a non-consequential parody of Fortnite. As noticeable in the above patch notes, there are some elements that aren't exactly named the same as they are in Fortnite, which you'd think wouldn't be the case if this was an official crossover.
We'll likely know when the official realm releases whether or not this is actually an official reference to Fortnite in a crossover capacity or just a joke based on the popularity of the game.
