Frostmourne hungers! Soon, WoW WotLK Classic players will dive into Icecrown Citadel to face “terrifying challenges before ascending to the Frozen Throne,” where the Lich King and his blade, Frostmourne, awaits.
The exact release time and date for the Icecrown Citadel raid for those on the US servers is Thursday, 12 October 2023, at 15:00 PDT. This means that for those in Europe, the Icecrown Citadel raid opens at 22:00 UTC on 12 October.
It is important to note that just like Trial of the Grand Crusader, both Normal and Heroic modes will be available when Icecrown Citadel’s doors open. However, guilds and raiding parties should be aware that there is a limited number of attempts available in Heroic mode, at 50 per week.
Please note:There is no gating to prevent access to later wings of the Icecrown Citadel raid in WotLK Classic.
