Best Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle class setup for Warzone Pacific Season 1

The Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle is the newest sniper rifle in Warzone Pacific and it packs a punch.
Best Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle class setup for Warzone Pacific Season 1
With the Season 1 Battle Pass live in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, the new weapons are now available to use. One of these weapons is the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle, the game’s newest sniper rifle. Players that have used the Gorenko know how difficult it is to use, though. Thanks to its slow aim down sights speed and sluggish mobility, players need a strong loadout to make it work on Caldera in Warzone Pacific.

Luckily, a loadout exists that allows the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle to excel on the new map. It might take players a while to level it up and get the attachments they need but once they do, they’ll have a hugely powerful sniper on their hands.

If you have yet to unlock the Gorenko, check out our guide on doing just that.

Since the Gorenko features such slow mobility, it’s best used at longer ranges in Warzone Pacific. While players can try to build a loadout to maximize mobility, we felt it was better to stick to the sniper’s strength.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: 440MM Anastasia Custom
  • Optic: Default Scope
  • Stock: Kovalevskaya Type 2 Padded
  • Underbarrel: Bipod
  • Magazine: 13MM AM 7 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: FMJ Rounds
  • Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
  • Proficiency: Focus
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

Perhaps the biggest aspect of this loadout is the optic. We chose to not equip any additional scope, as the default one is quite good already. It has a decent zoom and allows you to see enemies at both short and long ranges.

Moving on, the 440MM Anastasia Custom barrel, Pine Tar Grip and Bipod all help with reducing the Gorenko’s crazy recoil. The Kovalevskaya Type 2 Padded stock also adds some extra accuracy and stability to allow you to stay on target easier.

To add some extra damage range to the Gorenko, we’ve added the MX Silencer and FMJ Rounds. The former adds damage range and suppresses shots while the latter allows for better bullet penetration. The last attachments on the loadout are the 13MM AM 7 Round Mags to increase ammo capacity and the Focus Proficiency for extra stability when holding your breath.

Best Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle Perks and Equipment

  • Perk 1: E.O.D.
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Secondary: PPSh-41
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade

The regular slate of perks is in effect with this Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle. You still need E.O.D’s explosive protection despite playing with a sniper rifle due to the perk 2 selection of Overkill. A solid secondary weapon allows you to get up close and personal with enemies.

We recommended going with the PPSh-41 from Vanguard, the MP40 currently faces some recoil issues in Warzone Pacific. Your build with the PPS-41 should be catered towards more close-range gunfights, which means increasing mobility and damage range.

For equipment, the standard combination of Semtex and Stun Grenade is as good an option as any. However, if you’re playing Vanguard Royale, you’ll need to throw on a Frag Grenade, as non-Vanguard equipment isn’t permitted in that playlist.
