With the arrival of Call of Duty Warzone Season 5's latest update, fans are being treated to a plethora of new content to enjoy, from new Operators, maps, and POIs to the additions of five new weapons that threaten to shake the meta this season. But most notably, thanks to the balance changes made this season, the Warzone meta will see the return of one of the franchise's favorite Assault Rifles from Modern Warfare, the Grau 5.56.
If you're looking to pick up this bad boy and take it with you into Season 5, then you're going to need to know how to kit it out with the best gear available. To that end, below you can find a comprehensive list of attachments to help you build the best Grau 5.56 loadout for Warzone Season 5.
Best Grau 5.56 Loadout For Warzone Season 5
This Grau 5.56 loadout specification has been delivered by YouTuber ChainFeeds, so head on over to their channel and show some support for the great content being produced. We have also embedded their full gameplay showcasing this loadout later in the article.
Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel - Tempus 26.4” Archangel
Laser (Optional) - Tac Laser
Optic - VLK 3.0x Optic
Underbarrel - Ranger Foregrip
Magazine - 60 Round Mags
We're going to start with the Monolithic Suppressor, which grants us sound suppression and increases the damage range of this already deadly weapon. Then we move onto the barrel which is the Tempus 26.4” Archangel, which gives the weapon an increase in damage range once again, bullet velocity, and recoil control.

Next, you have two options to choose from, if you decide to go for the Tac Laser, then you will be using the standard Iron Sight on the weapon. This gives you a hefty decrease in ADS (Aim Down Sights) time but limits your accuracy.
It's recommended that you use the VLK 3.0x Optic instead, which slightly increases your ADS time, but offsets it with the increased accuracy and damage range. Make this a true No-recoil weapon once your sights are down. Ultimately this depends on your skill level and what kind of gameplay you want, but the beauty of the Grau 5.56 is that it can do it all.
Next, you'll want to use the Ranger Foregrip as your Underbarrel, giving you added recoil control and aiming stability, letting you nail your targets with pinpoint accuracy and putting the cherry on the cake for this weapon's no-recoil loadout. Last but not least, you can opt for the 60-round magazine to give you more than enough lead to impart into the poor operator unlucky enough to be in your line of fire.
