When Season 4 began, the KG M40 became a frontrunner due to its recoil profile. With the latest balance updates brought into Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, a KG M40 loadout will be slightly less effective at range. Many assault rifles were tuned to make low recoil less prominent, but the KG is still a monster of a weapon.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded - Best KG M40 loadout
To make the best KG M40 loadout, you'll need to take into account the stat changes across the board. Base damage on the weapon was increased to 26 from 24, making every shot more deadly regardless of the attachments used. Recoil was also tuned so that Tight Grip is longer a crutch part of the loadout.

Ammo types like the Sakura rounds and a few different barrels were also altered to give players more options in their own setup. However, many of the popular attachments are still used, and they are even better with the base weapon changes.
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Reisdorf 720mm Shrouded
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Stock: Krausnick 12V
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Magazine: 8mm Klauser 60 Round Drums
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Perk 1: Tight Grip/Brace
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
First up on this loadout is the MX Silencer and any Warzone Season 4 Reloaded players will know how important these are for any Vanguard weapons. Sound suppression is only one aspect of the attachment. The best benefits include increased effective damage range, bullet velocity, and can even help with recoil.
Next is the Residorf 720mm Shrouded barrel. This is going to provide many of the same stats that the MX Silencer does but at a much higher rate. Of course, that means more negatives to mobility as well, but the beefed-up range and velocity are worth it.
For grips, the M1941 Hand Stop and the Polymer Grip are your best options. These grips both focus on accuracy and recoil control entirely which the KG will certainly need if you plan on fighting at range. The Krausnick 12V stock will add to that control even further, making the weapon a laser beam.
The last integral aspects of this loadout are based on ammunition. Some builds will use Sakura for the recoil control and changes that they have now. But the 8mm Klauser 60 Round Drums are still the better option. Not only do they provide a further range, but they will also give more capacity overall. Lengthened ammunition should be paired for the velocity.
Everything else on the loadout is par for the course, and sight options can always be changed to match your play style. As long as those other pieces are attached, the KG M40 loadout in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is good to go.
