Developer Infinity Ward is in a war against Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters. The developer announced earlier this month that they banned over 70,000 Warzone cheaters. Since then, things haven’t gotten much better, with console players even turning off cross-play to get away from those on PC who cheat in the game.
Infinity Ward has now updated fans on the Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters situation, implementing more security measures. Best of all, however, is the developers move to match suspected cheaters together.
Players will also receive a notification if someone they reported for cheating in the game has been found guilty, and dealt with accordingly.
Additionally, more security updates across the game to prevent cheaters have been deployed, including increased resources for backend tech, and even enforcement teams.

It remains to be seen if this will turn some gamers away from cheating, or if these measures will be enough to stop cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone.
What is clear is Infinity Ward continues to fight against cheaters, and adding report-a-player functionality to both spectate and killcam modes will likely increase player reports when the feature gets released.
