CoD Mobile Season 10: new maps, mode, class, and more

Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 is around the corner. The developers have revealed new maps, a new mode, classes, and operator skills.
CoD Mobile Season 10: new maps, mode, class, and more

It wouldn’t be a new Call of Duty Mobile Season without the release of some new content. The developers have been teasing us for quite some time, but they’ve finally gone all in and confirmed what will be added in Season 10, and it looks like we’re in for quite. Here’s everything we know so far.

New Maps: Terminal and Pine

Two new maps have been confirmed in CoD Mobile Season 10, and the first one is a classic.

Terminal originally featured way back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, although it was remastered in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Described as a “medium-sized multiplayer map,” it has been highly requested and the developers are thrilled to finally bring it on board.

This classic map is an airport terminal filled with luggage, bars, shops, cargo, and of course, the infamous plane in the middle of the outside area which players can access.

Needless to say, players and fans of the franchise are ecstatic. That is, of course, until they get prone camped on the plane and old memories of rage come rushing back. But seriously though, Terminal is an awesome map, and it will undoubtedly be nostalgic for many veterans.

But that’s not all. A second map is also being added in Season 10. Pine was one of the first Gunfight maps included in the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and now it’s finally making it’s way to CoD Mobile.

It’s a chaotic close-quartered map, but it’s incredibly balanced and has a good range of both high ground and low ground areas. That’s probably why it’s considered to be one of the better Gunfight maps.

New Mode: Headquarters

Of course, it’s not all about the maps. CoD Mobile Season 10 is adding a new mode to the game too, and it’s an awesome one.

Headquarters is a 5v5 mode that’s already popular in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. A team’s main objective is to capture and hold a headquarter zone that appears somewhere on the map. The longer they control it, the more points they’ll get.

But there’s one massive catch. Respawns are disabled while a team controls it. If the opposing team kills everyone and gains control of the headquarter zone, players will need to band together again with their teammates and reclaim it as quickly as they can. It’s a simple mode, but it’s fun and strategic.
New Class

In addition to the new maps and the new mode, CoD Mobile Season 10 will also be adding a new class to the battle royale mode.

It has the ability to disorientate nearby enemies by “blacking out” their minimaps. But perhaps more importantly, it also lets players “hack” their enemies, which prevents them from using gadgets and utilities. It all sounds pretty typical of a hacking class, but it’s a welcome addition to the game and it will no doubt make fights more interesting.
Operator Skill: Equalizer
Last but not least, CoD Mobile Season 10 will also add a new operator skill called “Equalizer.”

The Equalizer Operator Skill lets the player equip two machine guns with “built-in suppressors for close-quarters combat.” It shoots like a light machine gun, and based on what we’ve seen, it looks absurdly powerful.

The best part is, you don’t even need to reload. Players can spray and pray to their heart’s content, and it doesn’t even compromise one’s movement speed. Hell, in the video, it even looks like you can pick off enemies in the distance. What’s not to love about it?

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 is set to release on 10th September, and now that we know more about what it entails, we absolutely cannot wait to get stuck into it.
