With the release of COD Vanguard, many players might want to know if their CP will carry over from a previous Call of Duty, or if they will once again need to open their wallet and throw some cash at Activision.
Will CP carry over to COD Vanguard?
For those who don't know, CP is a currency in modern Call of Duty titles such as Warzone and Black Ops Cold War that players can purchase for real money via their respective platform's stores, such as PlayStation Store or Xbox Store.

With COD Vanguard undoubtedly bringing new skins and cosmetic item bundles for players to purchase with CP, you will be happy to know that the premium currency will indeed carry over from previous titles.
There is one caveat, however, as players will need to use the same Activision account linked to their consoles to keep their COD Points.
Basically, all you need to do is log in with the same Activision account associated with your Warzone or Black Ops Cold War profile, and your CP will be safe.

For those who don't know how much CP costs, check out the average cost in USD below, as well as bundle bonuses for the big spenders out there.
- 200 CP - $1.99
- 500 CP $4.99 / £4.31
- 1,000 (+100 Bonus) CP - $9.99
- 2,000 (+400 Bonus) CP - $19.99
- 4,000 (+1,000 Bonus) CP - $39.99
- 7,000 (+2,500 Bonus) CP - $74.99
- 10,000 (+3,000 Bonus) CP - $99.99
In short, you can spend your COD Points via Vanguard's in-game store at launch, as they carry over without any additional work from gamers thanks to the Activision account system.
