[21:45 PM GMT] And after watching some of the best streamers play COD Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 and Warzone Mobile we reach the end of the COD Next showcase event. 

[19:30 PM GMT] Stephanie gives us a deeper explanantion of how the new Raid Events will work for Modern Warfare 2. 

[19:00 PM GMT] Matt Lewis brings us some great insights into what we can expect to see in COD Warzone Mobile. And we are also getting a great look at the classic Verdansk map. 

[18:46 PM GMT] Geoff and Joseph answer some interesting questions surrounding thier approach to the developement of COD Warzone and Modern warfare 2. 

[18:43 PM GMT] Geoff touches on the perk changes that are coming to Modern Warfare 2. 

[18:08 PM GMT] We now see hundreds of streamers jumping into the new Call of Duty titles and showcasing the new gameplay, weapons, game modes and tons more that we're excited to see.

[17:55 PM GMT] A new COD Warzone Mobile trailer has given us a new look at the game as well as the many new features to come in the mobile game. And most notably, it will feature the legendary map of Verdansk.  

[17:52 PM GMT] The release date for Warzone 2 has finally been announced for the 16th November 2022. 

[17:51 PM GMT] A new DMZ explorative sandbox mode is also coming to Warzone 2. And we are also going to be getting an all-new proximity chat feature that's exciting all streamers and players.

[17:47 PM GMT] A new Circle mechanic has been announced for multiplayer, with the circle on the map splitting into multiple circles that players have to clear and then move to a place where the circles converge back into one circle. We also see a new Gulag being added and a new feature called Strongholds that will contain cool new items. 

[17:43 PM GMT] We've also got a new look at the gameplay for Warzone 2, with the addition of new vehicle mechanics, water mechanics, and various other changes as Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 have been developed together sharing a lot of their mechanics. 

[17:38 PM GMT] Stephanie Snowden and Jac O'Hara introduce Warzone 2 and what we can expect from the multiplayer title. The centerpiece is the new map called Al Mazrah featuring tons of new POIs (Points Of Interest) and some familiar-looking locations.

[17:33 PM GMT] Oni has been announced as an exclusive operator who is playable for players on Sony consoles and will be available for those who preorder the game on day one. 

[17:31 PM GMT] An all-new third-person mode has also been added. This mode can be accessed whenever you play the game and allows you to simply turn it on or off. 

[17:28 PM GMT] New game modes have been announced called Invasion and Prisoner Rescue. These modes have been tweaked with new mechanics such as not being able to fire when carrying a prisoner or the Invasion mode being a more relaxed and tactical game mode.

[17:26 PM GMT] New maps have also been announced for Modern Warfare 2, one, in particular, is the Sarrif Bay which is a larger map set in a fishing village with rooftops for a different feel on the same map. Another is the smaller 6v6 Mercardo Las Almas map, a more fast-paced map that promotes short-range battles and tight corners. 

[17:21 PM GMT] Stephanie also discusses the new Gunsmith that will be coming to Call of Duty, allowing players to unlock universal attachments and decrease the grind players have to go through.

[17:18 PM GMT] Joseph goes deeper into the new items and tools to come to the game, from tactical cameras that you can throw around and patch to your team, to the new heartbeat sensors and so much more to come. Theyve also touched on the new movement mechanics such as dolphin diving and ledge hanging that will change the way battles work and feel. 

[17:15 PM GMT] Stephanie Snowden, Geoff Smith and Joseph Cecot discuss the new multiplayer coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, as well as the new content we can expect to see such as the new water mechanics that change how weapons and vehicles work in water, and the new proximity mine made to work in water.

[17:07 PM GMT] The reveal of the new Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 trailer comes in hot and showcases new gameplay mechanics, weapons, and items such as Drill charges, shock grenade/stick, remote-controlled explosive drones, and much much more. 

[17:00 PM GMT] The COD Next Livestream Next showcase has begun! Patrick Kelly gives us an overview of the changes that we'll see in the future of the franchise, such as the weapons, mechanics, and some technical aspects. Most notably the announcement of a new Raid event coming to Call of Duty.
