Popular mode "Gun Game" spotted in Vanguard Combat Records

Call of Duty: Vanguard players might be in for a treat after a notable source revealed that players had spotted the popular game mode "Gun Game" (also known as "All the Guns") in the Vanguard Combat Records.

Gun Game was first popularised in 2015 when it was introduced to COD: Black Ops as a Wager Match but debuted in several other game titles since. Its return will undoubtedly spark excitement among die-hard fans of the franchise as Gun Game marks the return of an old classic.

Is "Gun Game" returning to Call of Duty Vanguard?

According to a Twitter post by ModernWarzone on 6th January, there is a high likelihood that the popular game mode could return sometime during COD Vanguard Season 1. "Gun Game has been spotted in the Vanguard Combat Records," ModernWarzone noted.

Of course, there is no score or kill statistics included in the Combat Record for Gun Game just yet, since the game mode has not been brought live in COD Vanguard. However, the fact that it exists is a strong indication that this might change.

What is Gun Game in COD Vanguard?

Gun Game comprises six players competing with the same gun and loadout competing in a free-for-all match. As players earn more kills, they will receive more advanced weapons.

Melee kills don't advance players to new weapons but instead demote them to a previous weapon tier. As a result, gun Game matches are relatively short because the game ends once a player has racked up twenty weapon tier wins.

The general response by players is seemingly positive, with one Twitter user commenting, "Our prayers have been answered." Other players, however, are more concerned about the neverending bugs and glitches ruining their games.
