The best XM4 loadout for Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

This beast of an AR was taken down a few notches in Season 4 Reloaded, nonetheless, pick these attachments for the best XM4 loadout in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

One of the weapons most affected by the weapon balancing in the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update was the XM4. The Black Ops Cold War assault rifle was seen as too powerful pre-patch and its entire damage profile was reduced as a result.

Players who used the XM4 before the recent update know just how strong it was. That’s no longer the case but there’s still an argument to be made for using the rifle in Season 4. There just needs to be a slight adjustment made to its loadout in Warzone

Raven Software really went after the XM4 in the Reloaded update, decreasing its maximum and minimum damage values by one to two. The gun’s max damage now sits at 30 and its minimum damage stands at 27. Along with this, the XM4’s recoil was increased and its ADS speed was decreased.

With so many changes to a popular weapon, there is no doubt that players will want to know if their loadout needs to change at all. Those players can see the new top loadout for the XM4 below.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor

  • Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force

  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip

  • Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd

One of the more interesting aspects of this new loadout is the Stippled Grip Tape. The nerf to the XM4 reduced its ADS speed, so players can’t bring the gun up as fast when in a gunfight. With the Stippled Grip Tape, though, players have an added 30% increase to ADS speed, making this nerf neglectable.

The rest of the loadout is a familiar sight to Warzone players. To compensate for the XM4’s damage nerf, the Agency Suppressor and Task Force barrel are equipped to provide more than enough of a damage boost.

Although, the lack of an optic might throw some players off. If players truly can’t handle the iron sights of the XM4, they can take off the Stippled Grip Tape but they’ll be more susceptible to SMGs in close range.
