In Season 3 of Warzone Pacific, the Sten remained untouched through the latest round of buffs and nerfs. Due to the buff that it received in the previous season, the Call of Duty: Vanguard submachine gun is still a viable option for any player.
The Sten has always had some enticing stats that make shine above the average close-quarters weapon. What held it back in the initial launch of Caldera was the lack of ammo capacity in nearly every ammunition attachment. Even with great stats, the ammo capacity couldn’t cut it, but a course correction brought the Sten up to a competitive tier, even in Season 3.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 – Best Sten loadout
What separates a Sten loadout from other submachine guns in Warzone Pacific Season 3 is the range effectiveness. The Vanguard weapon has a ton of control, accuracy, and stability to bolster mid-range attacks. On top of the mid-range fights, the Sten can easily melt players in close quarters without any hesitation.
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: SA 65mm Rapid
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
- Stock: Gawain Para
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Magazine: 45 ACP 32 Round Fast Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Perk 1: Acrobatic
- Perk 2: Quick
There are two major attachments that change the dynamic of the Sten here. One is the SA 65mm Rapid barrel and the other is the Recoil Booster muzzle piece. Both of these are going to increase the fire rate of the weapon, which translates to a faster TTK if the control is handled. If the fire rate feels too fast, a suppressor can be used instead.
Next is the M1941 Hand Stop Underbarrel which will even out the added recoil. This is one of the only attachments aside from ammo that is going to even out the stability a bit, so it’s an important pick.

Many of the attachments in this loadout will be based on speed, and the first two are the Stippled Grip and the Gawain Para stock. Both options will increase the mobility of the weapon in terms of ADS and sprint-to-fire. As an added bonus, the Stippled Grip will add initial accuracy to make up for the negatives on the Gawain Para.
Ammo is always an important component of the Sten, and for this loadout, the 45 ACP 32 Round Fast Mags. These rounds are going to pack more of a punch, and with the buffs, there are more bullets to fire. Because of the base control of the Sten, the recoil shouldn’t be a problem.
Everything else is standard fare for a submachine gun. The optics and the perks should promote speed and mobility so that the gap can be closed against other classes within Warzone.
That’s all there is to build the Sten loadout. For more information on loadouts in Warzone Pacific Season 3, check out the Call of Duty section of our site!
